5. Damn Fine Coffee este o revistă creată de fani în cinstea serialului lui David Lynch, Twin Peaks. La fel ca fetelor de pe ModCloth, îmi place Twin Peaks, mai ales că mi-a influențat copilăria.
Îmi amintesc că ne jucam de-a Twin Peaks, fiecare era un personaj și inventa o nouă poveste pentru el. Eu m-am nimeri Laura, pentru că-mi plăcea mult numele.
Știu c n-am înțeles prea multe din serial pentru că aveam doar vreo 10 ani, dar plănuiesc să revăd seria cât de curând, cu ochii de adult.
Damn Fine Coffee a primit fonduri de pe Kickstarter și va fi o revistă de 60 de pagini cu ilustrații ce aduc omagiu minunatei și stranii lumi a serialului din anii’90. Preview-ul arată bestial.

Damn Fine Coffee is a fan zine dedicated to David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. I love Twin Peaks, like the girls at ModCloth, because it really influenced my childhood. I remember playing TwinPeaks games, everyone chose a character and developed a story as we went along. For some reason I was Laura, because I really liked the name.
I know I didn’t understand much of the series at the age of ten, but I plan on rewatching the series to see it with fresh eyes.
Damn Fine Coffee is going to be a 60 page magazine full of illustrations paying homage to the beautiful eerie world of the ’90s show. The preview looks awesome.
6. Tot de pe ModCloth mi-am amintit că-mi place mult de Charlotte Taylor. Duo-ul a debutat doar în 2010, dar printurile lor pe mătase, simple și jucăușe, combinate cu siluete clasice feminine sunt o combinație fermecătoare și unică. Inspirația a fost Cornish Tin Mining, Pirates and Smugglers și Gypsy Jazz. Mie-mi face co ochiul printul cu gramofoane, care bnuiesc că e materializarea Gypsy Jazz.

Also found on ModCloth is the reminder that I love Charlotte Taylor. The duo debuted in only 2010, but the simple whimsical prints on wonderful silk, combined with classic feminine silhouettes are charming and unique. The inspiration was Cornish Tin Mining, Pirates and Smugglers and Gypsy Jazz. I especially love the gramophone print, which I gather is Gypsy Jazz.
7. În bologna există un mural uriaș care ajută la puriicarea aerului, după cum am citit pe PSFK. Artistul italian Andreco a folosit o vopsea specială fotocatalitică care are proprietatea de a curăța aerul de substanțe fotochimice, cum e smogul. Muralul e în forma unui „Copac Filosofic”.

There is a giant mural that helps clean air as I found out from PSFK. Italian artist Andreco used a special photocatalytic paint that is able to clean the air of photochemicals such as smog. The mural is a ‘Philosophical Tree’ and it decorated Bologna.
